RAJATHI FAMILY KITCHEN - Tasty Indian Vegetarian Food Recipes

My focus is on reducing the time you spend in the kitchen cooking meals. I want everyone to enjoy fine food without having to give up precious time. My methods of cooking are simple, easy and quick. Some of my recipes have a microwave version as well. So do try my recipes, relish, and share.

 

In all my videos, I speak in Tamil as I find it easier to express myself in my mother tongue. I know that a lot of my followers do not speak Tamil. So in almost all of the videos, my daughters, either Sona or Mona, translate the recipes to English. Hi there, and welcome to my website. I am extremely happy that the love of food has introduced you to me. There is only one thing you need to know about me - I am a passionate food lover. I love grocery shopping, cooking, eating tasty and healthy meals, and most importantly sharing them with you.

I was born in South India to a vegetarian family. I have grown up as a vegetarian so all my recipes are vegetarian. Nevertheless, most of my dishes are flexible, so you can go ahead and add chicken or meat pieces to it. Cooking is a form of art which you can amend to your likings. Cooking is something to be enjoyed - the colour, flavour, texture and taste enlighten my world and bring the best drop of heaven to my kitchen. 

Filming videos takes a lot of time and effort. I have so many recipes to share with you that I can't wait until the next episode. So I have created a new section where I write Tamil recipes and articles. My latest Tamil recipe is குடமிளகாய் சாதம் (capsicum fried rice). I love sharing the benefits of certain foods, and how they help your body. Your body is your temple. Maintaining good health through good food is very important so that we can continue to enjoy life even as we get older. My section called, 'Live Better Feel Better' focuses on this topic.
