Microwave Milk Peda with Almond and cashews
Method

 

  1. Melt the butter in the microwave.

  2. Add the milk powder and mix very well

  3. Add the condensed milk. Mix well

  4. Crush the almonds and cashews coarsely. Add this to the mixture.

  5. Keep in the microwave for 2-3 minutes stirring after every 30 seconds.

  6. Leave to cool.

  7. Make small balls to the size you want and flatten them out.

  8. Decorate with sultanas

  9. Leave in the refrigerator to set, then serve.          

Ingredients

  • Crushed almonds and cashews

  • 2-3 cups of milk powder

  • 250g unsalted butter

  • 450g sweetened condensed milk

Tips 

 

  1. You may add rose essence, cardamom and colour powder along with step 3 (optional).

  2. Touch the milk powder to make the balls so that they form easily in your hand.​

  3. If the mixture is too tight or loose, add a bit more condensed milk.

  4. Store the milk pedas in the fridge.
