- Add chopped chillies into the batter
- Add squeeze of lemon juice into this mixture
- Add mushrooms and onions into the batter and mix well
- Turn on the stove, place wok on the stove and add oil for deep frying.
- Allow time for the oil to heat (To find if the oil has been heated or not, sprinkle a little bit of the battered mixture into the oil and if that floats at the top then it means that the oil has been heated.
- Take spoonfuls of this batter into oil for frying. Add only a few spoonfuls at a time so that they don’t stick together.
- Make sure that both sides of the pakoda has turned golden brown and remove. Repeat steps 8 and 9 for rest of the batter.
