Kuzhi Paniyaram
Ingredients
- Dosa Batter – well fermented
- • Plain Flour
- • 1 Onion – Chopped finely
- • Salt to taste
- • 2 spoons of plain flour – needed if batter is too thin
- • Coriander leaves – chopped finely
- • 1 green chilli – chopped finely
- • Ginger – small piece, chopped finely
- • Oil

- Kuzhi Paniyaram Chatti
Method
- . Mix the fermented Dosa batter with the chopped onion in a bowl.
- Add plain flour if the mixture is too thin.
- Add the coriander leaves, ginger, and chillies to this, and mix well
- Add salt to taste
- Place the Kuzhi Paniyaram chatti on the stove`
- In each shallow compartment, add some oil and wait until oil heats up
- Once oil heats up, add 1-2 spoonful of the dosa batter mixture into each shallow compartment of the Kuzhi Paniyaram Chatti
- Once the bottom side cooks, use the Kuzhi Paniyaram stick turn it around so that the top portion cooks.
- Once the top cooks, it can be taken out and kept on a plate.
- Repeat steps 7-9 until Dosa batter mixture finishes.
- Serve the Kuzhi Paniyaram with coconut chutney or any other chutney of your choice.
