Corn and Peas Pattice
DESCRIPTION
A healthy, quick and easy way to prepare a mouthwatering pattice that can be used as a filling in any of the sandwiches.


METHOD
INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup corn kernels (boiled)
- ¼ cup peas (boiled)
- 3 medium boiled and mashed
- Lemon juice to taste
- Handful of curry leaves chopped
- 3 green chillies chopped
- Salt to taste
- Oil enough for frying
- Take a blender and add corn and peas into it. Blend the ingredients into a smooth paste
- Mix the mashed potatoes with this mixture thoroughly
- Add salt to taste, green chillies and curry leaves to this mixture and mix
- Add lemon juice to taste
- Make small balls with this mixture
- Turn on the stove and place a flat pan on it. Allow it to heat
- Add a little bit of oil to this pan. Wet your hand with a little bit of water so that the balls don’t stick to your hands
- Take a ball of this mixture, flatten it in between your palms and place it on the pan. Leave the bottom side of the pattice to heat and become golden brown. Then turn it up to allow the uncooked side to become golden brown.
