How to prepare carrot salad

Ingredient



  1. 1 tablespoon oil
  2. ¼ teaspoon mustard seeds
  3. ¼ teaspoon salt
  4. 1 tablespoons lemon juice
  5. 400 g finely grated carrots
  6. Coriander leaves
  7. 2 chopped green chillies.

Method



  1. Heat the oil in a small saucepan over medium heat add the mustard seeds.
  2. After pop the mustard seeds add turmeric, salt to the pan.
  3. Then remove the pan from the heat and leave the spices to cool for    5 minutes.
  4. Mix in the lemon juice, then toss the carrot through.
  5. Cover and leave for 30 minutes.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and chopped chillies just before serving.
