Brussels sprouts fry

Ingredients

400gms of Brussels sprouts


(thinly sliced lengthwise )

  • 1 small size onion
  • 4 green chillies
  • 2 cloves garlic peeled and smashed

  • Curry leaves
  • Corainder leaves

  • 1 Tsp of Mustard seeds,Jeera,
  • Urad dal, Channa dal

  • Asafoetida
  • Turmeric powder(optional)

  • Salt to taste
  • A little bit ginger for smell(optional)

  • Oil

Method





  • Heat oil in pan ,Add mustard seeds.
  • When it starts splutter, Add
  • jeera,curryleaves,Asafoetida,channa
  • dal,urad dal.
  • Add chopped onions and green chillies
  • and garlic after the channa dal and
  • urad dal light brown color changed .
  • Fry the onions and chillies and
  • garlic for 5 minutes .
  • Add brussels sprouts,turmeric
  • powder,salt and mix well .
  • cover it and Stir continously until It
  • is done.
  • Brussels sprouts cook very fast and no
  • need to add water .
  • Finally, Add corainder leaves .
  • Optional ,
  • 1 tablespoon of
  • Fresh coconut and cooked moong dal Just
  • for taste and healthy too .
  • Serve with variety rice , roll with
  • roti....
